Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Abdelwahab Nouri will partake Friday in Rome in the International Symposium on Agroecology for Food and Nutrition, said Wednesday the Ministry in a communiqué.
On the sidelines of the ministerial meeting, initiated by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Nouri will meet with his counterparts, including French minister Stephane le Foll, with whom he will "examine bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food industry and rural development and the prospects for its enhancement," said the communiqué.
The symposium will be preceded by a meeting of experts on 18 and 19 September, the source said.
