The National Assembly has approved a bill on environment protection in its first reading in its ordinary session on Wednesday. The bill was passed with 38 votes in favor and abstention of one out of the 39 MPs who attended the session. The bill aims to safeguard the environment against all kinds of pollutions, and negative effects of agricultural, economic, industrial, and touristic development projects.
