Meetings of a joint Egypt-Sudan technical body for the Nile water kicked off in Khartoum on Sunday. Sudanese Water Resources Minister Moatz Moussa attended the inaugural meeting with a host of experts from his country and Egypt present. He hoped the discussions would lead to fruitful outcome to make best use of the Nile water shares. Proposals floated by Cairo to increase the Nile water resources will be mulled.
