Cairo - MENA
The water resources ministry denied on Saturday a report alleging that an adviser for the ministry on a controversial dam under construction in Ethiopia had been bribed by the African country.
The allegations against Alaa Yassin were made by the head of a campaign fanning for a project to increase Egypt's water share from Africa.
The report has been issued in a newspaper that was not named by the ministry.
The ministry asserted trust in Yassin, terming him an expert in the field.
