Egypt hit by rough weather

Heavy rain and strong winds are leaving behind flooded streets and power outages nationwide.
Sharqia governorate was hit particularly hard, with heavy rains, power cut and disruption on the roads.
The rainfall overwhelmed waterways and road drainage systems, leading to flash floods.
In Gharbia governorate inclement weather and soaking rain left roads impassable.
With 6-hour rainfall and strong winds, in Kafr el Sheikh governorate there was so much water that it resembled a lake.
There were no reports of any injuries.
