Cairo - MENA
Dozens of fishes were found dead on the shores of Wadi el-Rayan lake, Fayoum governorate. Results of preliminary examinations suggested that they died out of poisonous materials used by the fishermen, said head of the Nile Valley for Fish Wealth Salah Nadi in statements to MENA. Nadi said that a committee has been formed to make a field visit to the lake for further investigations. Wadi El-Rayan stretches on an area of 1759 km2.
