Alexandria - MENA
Bad weather alert was issued in Alexandria on Wednesday as heavy rains, snowfall, thunder and lightning continue to sweep the Mediterranean city.
Alexandria Governor Taek Mahdi said the City Hall's operations room is working round the clock to receive any complaints and to address any emergency.
He said traffic is regular as vacuum trucks managed to pump out water of streets and tunnel ends.
In addition to the wave of cold temperature now sweeping the Middle East, Alexandria is now hit by a gale.
