Alexandria - MENA
Alexandria and Dekheila straits continued to be closed on Saturday for the third day in a row due to high waves and strong winds, said the Alexandria Port Authority.
The closure decision was taken to avoid any collision between ships and to guarantee safe navigation, authority head Abdel Kader Darwish said.
Meanwhile, the rainfall continued in Alexandria and different parts at the North West Coast, leaving ponds of rainwater in the streets and affecting the flow of traffic and pedestrians.
