The National Research Institute for Astronomy and Geophysics said on Tuesday that an earthquake hit Helwan, registering 3.7 on the Richter Scale. The institute\'s head, Hatem Ouda, told MENA that the earthquake occurred at 5:59:30pm local time on a depth of 13-15 kilometers to the south of Helwan. The coordinates of the earthquake\'s epicenter were 29.47\'N 31.37\'E. The earthquake was felt by Helwan residents.
