Sunny and moderate conditions are expected on Tuesday in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the eastern plains, the Badia regions and hot in Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with high clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), a rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday creating relatively hot conditions in the mountainous areas and hot in other parts of the Kingdom.
High and medium clouds are also forecast and southwesterly brisk winds, blowing dust at times, the JMD added.
A weak unstable weather conditions is also forecast at night, bringing a chance for light showers with southwesterly brisk winds, the JMD said.
Temperatures will drop on Friday becoming around their annual average. Therefore, it will be moderate in the hilly areas, relatively hot in other regions with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for local showers in different parts of the country. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly brisk, raising dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD noted.
Maximum temperatures expected for today in most parts of the country will range between a high of 31 degrees Celsius and a low of 18 degrees, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 39 degrees dropping to 27 at night.
