Humidity levels could be as high as 90 per cent.

The forecast for today is relatively hot in general during daytime, mild by night while being partly cloudy and hazy at times, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said.

The clouds will form over some eastern areas, becoming convective at times during afternoon, it said.

Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during afternoon and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation.

The lowest temperature recorded on today morning was  19.4°C in in Umm Al Quwain at 6:15am.

Maximum temperatures will surge to 42°C inland, with lows of 20°C expected in the mountains. Humidity levels could be as high as 90 per cent.

Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.
