A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, becoming 3-4 degrees above their annual average and pushing mercury levels during daytime above their thirties in most parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
Therefore, relatively hot conditions will prevail in the hilly areas and the Badia region, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
Temperatures in the Gulf of Aqaba for today will reach 40 degrees sliding to 28 degrees, the JMD said.
Similar weather conditions will continue over the next two days with north westerly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said.
