Rain fell on several parts of the UAE over the weekend bringing respite from the intense heat many are facing nowadays.

Rainfall was reported early on Thursday in areas such as Al Dhaid, Sharjah. Rain was again spotted on Friday over Kalba-Sharjah Road and to the east of the Al Shuwaib area.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCMS) has issued rain warnings earlier. They have also shared several videos of Friday's rain.

Today's weather forecast did not mention if the same can be expected today.
