Temperatures on Tuesday are forecast to be around their seasonal average ranging between 29- 30 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern areas during daytime and dropping to 18 at night.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief, moderate conditions will prevail in the hilly areas, the eastern plains and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with high clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 37 degrees sliding to 27 at night, the JMD said.
Temperatures are expected to drop few degrees on Wednesday, but moderate conditions will remain in the mountainous areas, the plains and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be westerly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, mainly in the eastern and southern areas, the JMD added.
A further drop in mercury level is also forecast on Thursday, therefore it will be pleasant in most regions and moderate in Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and the Gulf of Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the eastern and southern cities, the JMD noted.
