Temperatures on Sunday are forecast to be around their seasonal average reaching 31 degrees Celsius in the capital and the northern areas, therefore moderate conditions will prevail in the hilly areas, the eastern plains and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 40 degrees sliding to 23 degrees at night, the JMD added.
Temperatures are expected to rise on Monday and Tuesday, creating relatively hot conditions in mountainous areas, the plains and the Badia region, while bringing hot weather in other parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD added.
