A slight rise in temperatures

A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday and Monday, but it will remain moderate in the hilly areas and relatively hot in the Badia regions, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, the Jordan Meteorological Department said in its daily brief.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, stirring dust in the eastern parts of the Kingdom, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will drop few degrees on Tuesday, but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.
Temperatures in the capital and the northern areas will range between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 18 degrees at night. Mercury levels in Aqaba will jump to 39 degrees sliding to 25 at night.
