Moderate and pleasant weather conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesday in most parts of the Kingdom as temperatures will register 3-4 degrees below their annual average reaching 26 degrees Celsius during daytimes in Amman.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures will drop at night reaching 16 degrees in the capital, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 36 degrees sliding to 23 at night. Winds will be northwesterly moderate.
A rise in temperatures is forecast on Thursday; therefore, it will be moderate in the hilly areas, the plains and the desert region, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba with westerly to northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
On Friday, temperatures will drop few degrees, but pleasant and moderate conditions will remain in most areas with high clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD added.
