A slight rise in temperatures is expected today, as hot and dry weather conditions prevail in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Hot weather conditions are forecast in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, the JMD added.
Winds will be moderate picking up at times, stirring dust in the Badia regions.
Temperatures will soar 4 to 5 degrees Celsius above their annual average and hot weather conditions are forecast nationwide.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will reach a high of 33 during the day, and a low of 19 at night.
