The weather

The weather will be hot across the Kingdom as mercury level goes up 5 degrees above seasonal average, the Jordan Meteorological Department said in its daily update.
A tangible drop in temperatures is expected on Saturday, bringing temperatures back to their seasonal average, the JMD noted. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, stirring dust in the eastern and southeastern parts of the country.
Similar weather conditions are expected to continue until Monday, and clouds will appear at low altitudes, the JMD said.
Temperatures for the coming three days will reach a high of 36 degrees Celsius in Amman, 35 in northern areas, 33 in central areas, 36 in southern areas and 42 in the Gulf of Aqaba, dropping down to 21, 22, 17 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
