The forecast for today is hot in general during daytime, fair by night while being partly cloudy and slightly hazy at times, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said.

Clouds will form over some eastern areas, becoming convective at times during afternoon, may associate with rainfall, it said.

Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during afternoon, and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas.

Maximum temperatures will surge to 46°C inland, with lows of 22°C expected in the mountains.

The lowest temperature recorded in the UAE this morning was 22.0°C in the Jais Mountain at 6:00am, while the highest temperature recorded on Wednesday was 45.1 °C n Madinat Zayed.

Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.

The conditions are likely to be the same on Friday to Sunday, the statement added.

Looking at the weather over the next 10 days, the maximum temperature in Dubai will be 41°C, World Weather Online reports.

Several parts of UAE on Wednesday received rainfall including Kadra, Daftah, Marbad, Shawka and other regions of Ajman, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
