A drop in temperatures is expected over the coming few days, the Jordan Meteorological Department said in its daily update.
Temperatures, however, will remain above their seasonal average by 5 degrees on Wednesday and winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk. The weather will be pleasant in hilly areas and relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the JMD noted.
Mercury levels will go up again on Saturday, bringing hot and dry weather conditions across the country. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk.
Temperatures for the coming three days will reach a high of 36 degrees Celsius and a low of 22 in Amman, a high of 34 and a low of 23 in northern and central parts of the Kingdom and a high of 42 and a low of 27 in the Gulf of Aqaba, the JMD said.
