A drop in temperatures is expected on Friday, bringing mercury levels back to their seasonal average, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
The weather will be pleasant in hilly areas and relatively hot in the Jordan valley and the Gulf of Aqaba. There will be gusts of winds of up to 70km/h in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom, the JMD said. There will also be a chance for scattered showers in the northern cities.
Another drop in temperatures is expected tomorrow, before mercury levels go up again on Sunday and Monday, the JMD said.
Temperatures in Amman for the coming three days will reach a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 12.
