Temperatures on Saturday are expected to drop 5-6 degrees Celsius below their annual average, bringing partly cloudy conditions with strong winds blowing dust in the southern eastern areas, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Spring and moderate conditions will continue to prevail Sunday in hilly areas and the desert region, while it will be moderate in the Jordan valley, the Gulf of Aqaba and the Dead Sea, the JMD said .
A rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday, bringing moderate conditions in the hilly areas and the desert region, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba.
Daytime temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 23 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 13 in the southern eastern areas at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 33 degrees sliding to 21 at night, the JMD added.
