Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani

President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani chaired Tuesday the association's general assembly, which took place at the Diplomatic Club.The general assembly was attended by Vice President Saoud Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi, representatives of the 18 Qatari football clubs who are members of the general assembly, in addition to the different directors and employees of the association. 
They discussed the subjects placed on the meeting's agenda and approved the minutes of the previous general assembly that took place on December 16. They also approved changing the name of player agents and omitting article 82 related to the procedures followed in electing to extra members for the executive committee. They also approved the formation of a permanent committee for financial monitoring.
QFA head of the financial integrity committee Ahmed Al Buainain said that the committee was formed with himself as its head, along with CEO of the Qatar Stars League Hani Ballan and President of Qatar players association Salman Al Ansari who will be its members. There will be three other members from the Ministry of Culture and Sports. Al Buainain said that all the internal rules and the procedures of the committee have been placed.
