Turkish PM: Turkey bombs Daesh positions in Syria

Three Turkish fighter jets bombed several positions held by Daesh group in Syria early Friday, Turkey's premier said, the second day of cross-border fighting after a drastic escalation of tensions between Ankara and the extremists.

The attacks, carried out shortly before 4:00 am (0100 GMT), destroyed three Daesh positions, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu's office added in a statement.
