US Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday warned all sides against resorting to "destructive" force in eastern Ukraine, where Kiev and pro-Moscow separatists accuse each other of violating a shaky ceasefire.

"The resort to force by any party at this time would be extremely destructive," Kerry told reporters, speaking alongside Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in the Black Sea resort of Sochi.
