At least nine people were killed and 90 wounded in a powerful blast which ripped through Kabul's diplomatic quarter Wednesday, Afghan officials said, warning that they expect the toll to rise.
"This is an initial figure," health ministry spokesman Ismael Kawoosi told AFP. "They are still bringing bodies and wounded people to hospitals."
