French President Francois Hollande on Friday called on Russia's Vladimir Putin to "move forward" with implementing the Ukraine peace accords struck in February.

"The best way to overcome what has hindered us would be to move forward with the application of the Minsk agreement" on resolving the conflict in Ukraine, he told Putin as the two met following the commemorations of the Armenian genocide.
