A bomb blast targeted NATO forces in Kabul on Tuesday, a spokesman for the coalition told AFP, as the Taliban step up attacks as part of their annual summer offensive.

Najib Danish, the deputy spokesman for the Interior Ministry said the explosion in the southeastern part of the Afghan capital may have been a suicide attack.

No details were immediately available on casualties.
