Prime Minister David Cameron said Thursday he had been "deeply moved" by images of a dead Syrian toddler on a Turkish beach and promised Britain would fulfil its "moral responsibilities" in the migrants crisis.

"As a father I felt deeply moved," he added, a day after insisting that taking on "more and more refugees" would not help resolve the situation.
