A Pakistani was killed on Monday when the Saudi city of Najran near the border with Yemen came under renewed bombardment, official media reported.

Civil defence spokesman Ali al-Shahrani said a school and residential neighbourhood in the city were hit, "resulting in the death of a Pakistani resident".
