Blast hits Turkish town near Syria border

An explosion hit the Turkish town of Suruc near the border with Syria on Monday, leaving at least 20 people injured, local television reported.

The cause was not immediately clear.

The blast took place in the garden of a culture centre in Suruc -- which lies opposite the Syrian town of Kobane, the private NTV television reported, adding that at least 20 people were injured but the toll could be higher.
