Ten people were killed in two separate blasts in the northeastern Nigerian city of Potiskum, a police source and a civilian vigilante assisting the military against Boko Haram told AFP on Monday.
Eight vigilantes were killed when a man taken in for questioning on suspicion of theft detonated explosives he was carrying at about 12:15 pm (1115 GMT), while two were killed outside a tavern and brothel.
