Egyptian Actress Leqaa Sweidan denied recent rumors of her separation from husband, Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi after 4 years of marriage. Sweidan told ‘Arabstoday’ that the news of her separation from her husband are “false rumors”, pointing out that they are planning to celebrate their fourth anniversary this month (January). Sweidan said that it is not the first time she hears similar rumors involving her marriage. Liqaa started shooting her role in the TV drama ‘Zay el Ward’ (Like Flowers), scheduled to be aired next Ramadan. The series is in the style of the Turkish/ American drama, set in a romantic context. Sweidan plays the role of a doctor suffering from marital problems amounting to divorce. She then falls in love with a young man, and walks into a conflict with her ex-husband who pressures her through their son. The series, written by Fidaa Shandawili and directed by Saad Hindawy, will be co-starred with Salah Abdullah, Yousef el-Sherif, Tunisian actress Dorra, and Nihal Anbar. On a different note, Hussein Fahmi stressed that he has no intention to retire from acting, however, he was temporarily absent from the scene due to the current political situation and the consecutive incidents taking place in Egypt. He also refuted the news about him turning to film direction, and emphasized his commitment to acting. Fahmi is currently preparing  to shoot his new TV series “Al-Neel al-Tayeb” (Good Nile), written and directed by Ahmed Khidr, co-starring his wife Liqaa Sweidan and Ahmed Fouad Selim.
