Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek has denied the circulating rumors of her wearing hijab and giving up her acting career. The rumor was supported by a picture published on her Facebook page of her wearing hijab and reading Qur'an. The photo caused a lot of controversy among fans. Abdel Razek explained that the photo is from a scene of her new movie “Riklam”, in which she plays the role of Shadia who gets overwhelmed by her personal problems and crises, so she resorts to wearing hijab and reading Qur'an.
