US pop music star Ariana Grande will perform at half-time of next month's 64th NBA All-Star Game at New York's Madison Square Garden, the league announced Thursday.
Grande won best female artist at November's MTV Europe Music awards in Glasgow and best song for her hit "Problem" with Iggy Azalea.
Last year, Grande became the first singer since the late Michael Jackson and the first woman in history to have three songs in the top 6 of Billboard's Digital Songs chart at the same time.
Her platinum-selling album "My Everything" and smash hit "Bang Bang" brought Grande, 21, her first Grammy nominations.
The top players from the Eastern Conference and Western Conference will meet on February 15 in the NBA's annual showdown of elite talent.
Worldwide fan balloting to decide the starting lineups has concluded and the five opening players for each club are set to be announced by the NBA later this week.
