Egyptian young actor Mohamed Faheem expressed his pleasure over the positive reactions he received over the role he performs during the new TV drama show “The Group” which raised increasing controversy since the beginning of its episodes. He added that the role was a major challenge, describing it as a turning point in his career.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he was keen to study the role well to be able to perform it well, stressing his keenness to meet the aspirations of fans in all over the Arab world. He added that he was keen to read about the personality he characterized and other personalities with whom he dealt.
He added that the role is considered a turning point in his career, stressing that it was one of the major role he performed since the beginning of his career. He praised his previous roles which were circulating in comedy framework.
He denied what was published over receiving threats for performing the role of Syed Qotob in “The Group”, saying that he conducted an interview with a news website loyal to Muslim Brotherhood to present an evidence that he was keen to present the role neutrally. He added that he participated in the first part of the same series, saying he performed a role of a student in Azhar University.
