Three people were killed and seven others wounded when a booby-trapped car ripped through a bus station in Damascus Sunday, the third blast of its kind in the Syrian capital within one day, state-run SANA news agency said. A three-year-old child was among the killed in the latest blast that rocked the bus station in the Mazzeh 86 area, a district dominated by the Alawite minority, which the ruling elites hail from. Earlier on Sunday, at least five people were killed in two separate explosions staged by members of the al-Qaida-linked Nusra Front at two police headquarters of two districts of Damascus, according to a statement by the Interior Ministry. The rebels in Syria have recently announced receiving \" qualitative\" weaponry from their Western and regional backers, supplies they say would \"reshape the battle\" against the government troops.
