Syrian warplanes carried out raids over fortifications and posts of the terrorist group Daesh in many parts of Syria during the past hours, killing a number of the group elements.
According to SANA news agency, army units continued on Monday their military operations against Daesh, Jabhat al Nusra and other organizations across the country, destroying their weaponry and killing many of their members.
An army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, targeted a gathering of Daesh terrorists in Tal Asheihib in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province, according to a military source.
A mortar launcher and a bulldozer were destroyed and the terrorists operating them were killed, the source told SANA.
The army’s air force destroyed Daesh terrorists’ dens and vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns and carrying ammunition, in the vicinity of Palmyra and al Qaryatain in the countryside of the central Homs province.
