Syrian Army announced Tuesday that a nationwide ceasefire would be extended for another 72 hours as of Tuesday, Syrian Official Media reported.
The statement released by the Syrian Army Command said "a regime of calm will be extended for a period of 72 hours from one o'clock on July 12 till Thursday."
Syria's Assad regime uses the term "regime of calm" to denote a temporary ceasefire.
