Factions of the Syrian opposition on Friday threatened to bomb Assad regime's military bases in Hama province, if the government refuses to meet demands of rebel prisoners held in a jail in the west of the country.
Meanwhile, The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that Hama Central Prison has been witnessing a revolt since Monday, after prisoners were able to detain nearly 10 members of the regime forces inside the prison.
SOHR said that they received information that the prison's authorities approved to release about 30 prisoners and detainees in exchange for ending the ongoing revolt.
The regime forces tried to storm the prison but in vain, SOHR added.
The prisoners demanded to transfer the inmates who will be released to Qalaat al Madiq area, which is controlled by the opposition factions in the north of Syria.
