s many as 124 people were killed in different parts in Syria, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Friday.
About 36 Syrian regime forces and 40 Daesh militants were killed in clashes that erupted in the outskirts of Palmyra city, the SOHR added.
