More than one thousand militants and their families left Qudsaya and al Hamah in western Reef Damascus heading to Idlib located in north Syria.
This comes within the framework of an agreement between the opposition and the Syrian government, according to Syrian local sources on Sunday.
The evacuation of the militants comes after threats of storming the two regions if a truce was not reached, Russia Today quoted Syrian sources as saying.
Meanwhile, the agreement, which was reached between the Syrian regime and the reconciliation committees in Qudsaya and al Hamah, stipulates the evacuation of 400 opposition militants and their families to the northern areas of the country.
