The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) said it would extend till Monday its campaign to receive donations for Syrian refugees who fled Aleppo.
The move comes as part of the relief campaign, dubbed "Aleppo Scream", and launched in cooperation with Kuwait's NGOs.
The campaign members will be present in various places this week, KRCS Deputy Chairman Anwar al Hasawi said in statements on Saturday.
Over the past days, he added, there was an influx of people of different ages and genders making donations.
Hasawi noted that the social media had a significant role in promoting the campaign and in briefing people on the suffering of Syrian refugees.
