Syrian army units, backed by air forces, destroyed on Sunday vehicles belonging to Daesh terrorists and killed tens of them in Deir Ezzor Province.
Syrian forces destroyed a Daesh tank in al Mohandiseen area at the surrounding of al Tharda mountain to the south of the city, killing and injuring many of the terrorists, Syrian news agency SANA reported.
A number of Daesh militants were killed and a radio-controlled plane destroyed in al-Maqaber area.
Also, army units in cooperation with the supporting forces carried out concentrated operations against gatherings and positions of terrorists in the villages of al-Bogheilia and Ayash and the surrounding of Brigade 137, al-Taim Field and al-Hweiqa, killing dozens of the terrorists and destroying a number of their vehicles.
SANA added that a tank of the terrorists was destroyed in al Ummal neighborhood and a vehicle equipped with a machine gun.
Local sources in al-Quria village said that a leader of Daesh terrorists called Kaser Heddawi and one of his companions were killed near al Buawad Mosque.
