Forty-two civilians, including six children, were killed in Syrian regime warplanes' bombardments of areas outside Damascus on Friday, a Syrian monitoring group said, anticipating the figure to increase due to high casualties.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said fighter jets of the Syrian regime bombed areas of Hammuriya town, outside Damascus, killing 42 civilians, including six children, and injuring many others.
It added the number of fatalities might increase due to the high number of injured people.
Meanwhile, a source at Damascus police told the official SANA news agency that four citizens were injured in motar attacks against two residential neighborhoods in Damascus.
