Prominent Saudi singer Rashed Al Majed is preparing to release a new single titled “Ya Tayr” (Oh Bird), which is written by the poet Jumooh and composed by Fayez Al Saeed. Majed recorded the song at Aghani Studios in Dubai under the supervision of UAE poet Ali Al Khuwar. According to the London based Elaph, the song marks the second cooperation between Rashed and the poet Jumooh the first being the song “Wisam Al Sha’er”, which was also composed by Fayez Al Saeed and released as a single. On a different note, Rashed is still contemplating the release date of his upcoming album, which he is near completing. The album has been postponed several times for different reasons like the unstable conditions around the Arab world. Another reason for the postponement is the fact that Rashed has been releasing different singles and they have been witnessing tremendous success.
