Global Village, the region’s leading multi-cultural festival park, kicked off its New Year weekend celebrations with the international music icon Nancy Ajram, who took to the Main Cultural Stage on Friday night and enthralled tens of thousands of music lovers from across the world.
The Lebanese singer’s highly charged performance included some of her most–best-known hit songs, which left the crowds asking for more.
Ajram later tweeted: “Thank you so much. Love you all #GlobalVillage #NancyAjram“
Ajram is one of the most famous singing sensations of the Middle East and had returned to Global Village for the second time.
The concert is part of a packed agenda for the New Year celebrations at Global Village, which are filled with fun and festive activities. The concert was held in collaboration with Platinum Records.
Ajram recently released her new song “Aam Betalla’ Feek/I’m Getting Attached to You,” which has dominated all major musical charts in the Arab entertainment world.
She also performed at Abu Dhabi’s Beach Rotana on New Year’s Eve.
