Prominent Egyptian singer Midhat Saleh has decided to release his latest album during the upcoming New Year’s Eve celebrations. The album had been postponed for several times due to political and economic conditions in Egypt and the state of instability the country is going through since the January 25 Revolution that overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak. According to the London based Elaph, the new album is titled “Yadek Wa Yadaina” (Your hand and ours) and will feature 12 songs. Midhat has cooperated with a number of prominent poets and composers to choose the most appropriate songs. The album will mar Midhat’s return to the music scenes after a two year absence. The last album was released in 2009 and titled “Baktub Ismak” (I write your name).
