Moroccan actress Suriya Gibran was pleased to be honored within the activities of the sixth session of the Meknes Festival of TV fiction, held at the House of Culture Almnona, stressing that every honor represents a fulfillment and deepen the culture of recognition of what is produced by others, and rooted in the self-impact varies by contexts and sources of honor.
Gibran said that the most important thing in her honoring at Meknes Festival is that it belongs to an ancient city like Meknes and it is special for this city and for civilizations that rely on openness, tolerance and dialogue with the values of the other all the respect and appreciation. Chairman of the festival, Abdullah Boano, was delighted to honor Gibran, as she gave too much to the art in Morocco and Arab countries, congratulated all women in Morocco, especially the artists on the occasion of International women's day.
Gibran explained that, "the drama is currently offering an extension of modern art theater, film and television and in spite of this, each with its properties, methods, and should be organizers of the work of art knows that it is not cinema and TV without the theater," he confirmed a range of cultural events certificates during the ceremony the opening of the Meknes festival that celebrated a pioneer of the theater Moroccan, Arab, and a symbol of women's activism.
The Meknes Festival of TV fiction which lasts from 10 to 15 March 2017, under the High patronage of SM Mohammed VI. The Festival of Meknes of Fiction TV is the national meeting impossible to circumvent in the field of the art and the creation of television. This international event brings together a large number of Moroccan and foreign artists every year.
